Sharon Simmons-Cantrell is the niece of the late founding partner, Robert S. Simmons. Sharon began her career at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., as an intern for her uncle, handling a variety of tasks while working her way through college. In 1991, Sharon received her law degree from the University of Houston Law School and began her career as a personal injury lawyer at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. Sharon litigated cases for the firm from 1991 to 1995 and has since become the lead negotiator and taken over the pre-litigation division of the firm. She is now the President of Simmons and Fletcher, P.C.
