Truck Accidents in Texas
According to officials with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Texas regularly claims the highest number of fatal semi-truck accidents of any state in the county. In fact, the FMCSA reported nearly 600 fatal truck wrecks statewide in 2017 alone.
It’s clear that these 18-wheeler accidents are an unfortunate reality of life in the Lone Star State. Furthermore, victims of tractor-trailer accidents in Texas may suffer from long-term physical issues, costly medical bills, job loss, and sometimes, even death. But the victims and their families who are affected by a serious Texas car accident can and should contact an injury lawyer in Houston for guidance. In some cases, a skilled truck accident attorney in Texas can help victims get justice and a full and fair settlement from a personal injury lawsuit or a wrongful death lawsuit.
Contacting a dedicated Texas personal injury lawyer is in your best interest if you or a loved one has sustained injuries in a big-rig accident. An attorney can review all of the facts surrounding your wreck to determine if you have the right to pursue compensation for the injuries and losses you sustained in the crash. They will tailor their advice to match your specific needs. Whether you’ve been involved in a collision or lost a family member after one of these devastating wrecks, it’s important that you contact a lawyer as soon as possible. Insurance companies are not on your side.
Don’t let insurance adjusters determine the outcome of your claim. If you’ve sustained injuries in a truck accident that occurred through no fault of your own or your loved one has died in a fatal 18-wheeler accident, make sure you protect yourself and your loved ones from the very beginning. Contact a lawyer as soon as possible to protect your legal rights.
