Houston, TX (October 6, 2021) – Police identified three valet workers who were killed when a driver lost control and crashed into them as they worked at a local sports bar on Friday evening, October 1.
Per reports from authorities, the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. near Prospect Park Sports Bar and Kitchen at the 3100 block of Fountain View Drive. The driver of the vehicle involved was allegedly doing donuts in a parking lot when officers tried to stop him, according to a Houston Police Department report.
The driver then took off and lost control and crashed into the three valets working at Prospect Park. Two of the three men have been identified as 18-year-old Fnan Measho and 22-year-old Eric Orduna. Details about the third victim’s identity are pending.
Houston officers say the suspect suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital while in police custody. Authorities said he’s expected to be charged upon his release.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the accident at this time, and further details have not been provided.
