The law firm of Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., has been retained to represent the family of Chhay Leang, who died during a dog attack that occurred on December 15, 2025, at the Mason Creek Park North Hike & Bike Trail in Katy, Texas.
Mr. Leang, 63, was on his daily walk when three loose dogs attacked him. His injuries were fatal. The dogs then ran into a nearby neighborhood and attacked a mother and her children in their own driveway. The attack happened while he was face-timing with a family member.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has not yet released information pertaining to the dog owners. The dog attack lawyers at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., are seeking eyewitnesses and information about the attack, the dogs, and the dog owners.
