Cannon and Sharon Simmons-Cantrell have been named Super Lawyers in the field of Plaintiff’s Personal Injury law (general). Christopher K. Fletcher has been named a 2025 Rising Star in the same field. Subscribers to Texas Monthly will receive a copy of the publication in the mail along with their October 25, 2025, issue of Texas Monthly.

For attorney Paul H. Cannon, this marks nine straight years that he has been named to the list since being added in 2017. Sharon Simmons-Cantrell has been named a Super Lawyer for the past three years. Christopher K. Fletcher has been named a Rising Star each year since 2020.

Thomson-Reuters legal publications have, for many years, recognized lawyers for their skills and abilities in Texas by publishing their Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. These lists recognize attorneys who have met specific criteria, including years of practice, evaluation by peers and clients, and accomplishments. The publication is put out annually as a supplement to Texas Monthly. Rising Stars is an award given to attorneys who do not meet the minimum age requirement to be a Super Lawyer but have already demonstrated themselves to be worthy of recognition under the age of 40.
