Christian Trial Lawyers

What We Mean By “Christian Trial Lawyers”

In 1979 when Robert S Simmons and Keith M. Fletcher joined forces, they wanted to find a way to tell the world what they stood for in a short way. Back then, being Christian has not been so politicized and frankly, abused, as the name is today,  They came up with Christian Trial Lawyers as a way to say to the world we stand for the cherished Christian values of honor, integrity, and compassion. In a world where personal injury lawyers are untrusted and some have tarnished the profession, it was a way to say: “We practice law in a way that reflects positively upon the character of our clients.”

Over four decades later, our Christian law firm is centered on our commitment to serving God by resolving personal injury cases for our clients in a prompt and caring manner, pursuing justice while modeling Christian-cherished attitudes and behaviors. This approach, combined with our experience and determination, makes us compassionate and skillful advocates for our clients.

There are over 70,000 lawyers in Texas to choose from. When clients are asked what sets this law firm apart, they often mention the concern our lawyers show for them as individuals and the quality of service we give to their legal problems. If you or a loved one has been injured due to another’s negligence, you want a personal injury lawyer who cares about you and your legal problem. We do. Contact the Christian lawyers at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., Injury & Accident Lawyers today to learn how we can put our experience to work for you on your case.

We understand the challenges our clients are facing and are dedicated to giving each client the attention and help they need to get through this difficult time.

Why Hire a Christian Trial Lawyer at Simmons and Fletcher?

The role of your personal injury lawyer should align with Christian values regardless of the lawyer’s beliefs or the client’s beliefs. All lawyers have an ethical obligation to advise their clients about what is in the client’s best interests, not their own. All lawyers have an ethical duty of candor to the Courts. Compassion, integrity, and honesty are the cornerstones of our legal society yet some lawyers have not garnered a reputation for upholding these values in the past. Our goal is to provide you with the same level of represent that we would provide to the Lord Himself were he the client.

The case evaluation and consultations are always free at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., Injury & Accident Lawyers. If we take on your case, we do it on a contingency fee basis. This means we front the expenses for the investigation and prosecution of your case. If we do not make a recovery on your behalf, you not only do not have to reimburse those expenses, but you do not owe us any attorney’s fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Only Represent Christians?

Simmons and Fletcher represents all people of all faiths and those with no faith at all. Jesus stood up for the meek. He dined with the sinners. He did not encircle himself with a safe crowd of followers, He went into new places and sought to show compassion to the lost. We are not here to judge your lifestyle, we are here to help you put it back together after an accident has disrupted it. Please see out Statement of Hope above.

Do You Represent People Who Are of Different Sexual/Gender Orientations?

Yes.  Always have, always will. We are not here to judge people’s lifestyles or personal choices.

Are You Going to Preach To Me If I Hire You?

When you hire Simmons and Fletcher, you get a professional attorney who will fight to remove the blinders of prejudice that any insurance adjusters, judges, and/or jurors may have. We do not accomplish this by preaching to you or judging you. Now, if you go out and commit a crime or do something  to harm your case we will probably read you the riot act, but it will not be a religious discussion.

Will You Talk to Me About Your Faith/Jesus?

If you ask us to, yes. Otherwise, no. We are here as your compassionate legal advocate.

Can a Lawyer Promise Me Results?

No. The Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct prohibit a lawyer from making statements that are likely to create unjust expectations about the results their are likely to achieve. (Rule 7.01) No one has a crystal ball or can see the future. Judges and jurors have minds of their own beyond any lawyer’s control. Thus, for a lawyer to promise you a result is simply not permitted. She can tell you she thinks she can win but she cannot promise a victory.

Do You Handle Religious Discrimination Cases?

No. Sorry, Religious discrimination is not in our wheelhouse as personal injury lawyers. Please feel free to call our intake at 713-932-0777 to ask for a referral.
