Are You Going to Preach To Me If I Hire You?
When you hire Simmons and Fletcher, you get a professional attorney who will fight to remove the blinders of prejudice that any insurance adjusters, judges, and/or jurors may have. Can a Lawyer Promise Me Results?
No. The Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct prohibit a lawyer from making statements that are likely to create unjust expectations about the results their are likely to achieve. (Rule 7.01) No one has a crystal ball or can see the future. Judges and jurors have minds of their own beyond any lawyer’s control. Thus, for a lawyer to promise you a result is simply not permitted. She can tell you she thinks she can win but she cannot promise a victory.
