Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., Scholarship Competitions
2020 Competitions Open for Submission
Submissions for the 2020 Scholarship Competitions are now open.
Simmons and Fletcher, P.C., is committed to giving back to the community. One of the best ways for local businesses like us to give back to the community is investing in the education of our future leaders. That is why we proudly offer college scholarship opportunities to students in various fields of study.
Earning a college degree is arguably one of the most rewarding accomplishments one can achieve in a lifetime. Working hard in college for a few years increases one’s earning potential, and expands their thinking and social development substantially. Unfortunately, it’s also very expensive! The financial burden of college in the United States has earned international recognition, and not the good kind.
According to the Project on Student Loan Debt, roughly 70% of all graduating seniors in the United States had student loan debt in 2013. The average student loan debt of those students averages close to $30,000. This data does not even include students who go on to graduate school or law school.
We at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. are proud to announce two scholarships to be awarded for the upcoming academic school year. We will announce the winner of each scholarship, as well as the second-prize winners, on our Facebook and Google+ pages. We will also post their submissions on our personal injury law blog.
