While Bexar County makes up most of the San Antonio area, many counties surround the city. It is important to keep in mind that the Texas Department of Transportation has established a statewide Crash Report Online Purchasing System. You can request accident reports filed anywhere in Texas here. It can take 7 to 14 days after the date of the accident before a crash report is available.
